Quick and Easy Easter Cards

Good evening...

Today, I decided to make some Easter cards for all of my friends. However, because it would have taken ages to make a normal A5 sized one for each of them, I came up with a little card with a chick on it. Here it is:

Three Little Chicks...
I made them all the same, but used different ribbon for each card.

To make these, you will need:
  • A blank white card, cut in half (so it is A6 when folded)
  • Yellow acrylic paint
  • Black ink pen
  • Glue
  • Pretty spring-coloured ribbon
1) Firstly, with the card landscape with the folded edge on the left, glue the ribbon on the bottom edge. Trim the ends of the ribbon so it is the same length as the card (or you can just fold the ends over the edge of the card - it's up to you!)

2) Next, paint a big yellow circle in the centre of the card with the acrylic paint - it can be as big as you like.

3) Then, once the paint is dry, draw the chick over the circle in black ink, and write 'Happy Easter' to the side of him. Don't forget to draw on the chick's beak, eyes, legs and tuft of hair! I have also drawn a couple of Easter eggs next to him.

Hope you liked it! Have a fantastic Easter (yummm - chocolate!) and I will speak to you soon.
